JAZZ

Hip Hop
This is a fun, relaxed and creative style of Dance. In this class students will learn hip hop combinations that include- popping, break dancing, house dance, lyrical hip hop and tutting. Hip Hop helps you connect with music with smooth isolation work.

Jazz
Our most popular dance style; in our jazz classes students will learn a number of dance combinations that include jumps, kicks and turns. This class focuses on improving technique, flexibility, balance, posture and coordination.

Ballet Technique
In this class students will work on balance, grace, agility, core strength, flexibility and discipline. Ballet teaches crucial technique, which will provide a strong foundation for all styles of dance. Ballet technique creates brilliant all round dancers and will teach musicality and time signatures.

Musical Theatre
In this class you will learn theatrical dance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance. The story and emotional content of a musical- humour, love, anger is communicated through words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment as an united whole.

Flexibility and Trick
This class will focus on the technical side to learning correct tricks and acrobatic combinations. Tasks will be given to the students each week for them to work on to improve their flexibility.

Contemporary
Contemporary dance is very interpretive in its choreography and focuses on emotions and storytelling. In this class you will strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.

KTL
Kicks, turns & leaps, in this class students will work on balance, grace, agility, core strength, flexibility and discipline, they will learn combinations that can be incorporated into concert routines.

Acrobatics
Acrobatics is the performance of extraordinary movements of balance, agility and motor coordination. It can be found in many of the performing arts and sports events. In this class you will learn things such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels and aerial cartwheels in a safe dance atmosphere that will minimise injury and maximise success.

Stretch and Conditioning
This class is important for dancers as it focuses on improving a dancer’s stamina, core strength, flexibility, endurance and muscular strength which is needed in all aspects of dancing.

Adults
This class is fun and energetic and your never too old to join in. This class will focus on stretching, exercise, combinations and having a laugh.

Toddlers
This is a jazz class for the tiny tots to make friends, learn manners, self control and respect while developing basic technique, coordination, balance and posture. This class is the foundation of teaching your child the love for dance.

Preschool
Introduction to both movement and rhythm in a fun, nurturing environment. This class is designed for 3 and 4 year olds to establish a sense of rhythm, build better coordination, establish right and left directionality and improve gross motor skills.

Mums and Bubs
Our Mums & Bubs class is a great way for new mums to get back into exercise after pregnancy, this class will provide a fun and nurturing environment for both Mums & Bubs and find that love for music and dance.

Guest Workshops
A dance workshop is essentially an open dance class that anybody is free to attend. Attending workshops is a fantastic way for dancers to broaden their experience, step outside of their comfort zones, make connections and discover new ways to move and create.
